Meet our team

Our team of highly qualified and skilled clinicians are all experienced in working across a wide spectrum of psychological difficulties. Each one of us has worked in the NHS as well as privately, with patients of all ages and across a wide spectrum of ethnicities.

However, we know that each person is different, and each patient an individual. Each psychologist in our team has additional skills and areas of expertise that we have studied, or developed over the years. With these, we aim to try and offer you sessions with the psychologist who is best equipped to deal with your particular difficulties.

Together with our policy of flexibility, where we are able to offer appointments during the day, in the evenings, or on weekends, we take pride in offering a personalised and patient-focused service.

Dani Richman

Dani Richman is an Autism Specialist and Family Support Consultant, and have worked directly with people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and other related conditions for over 17 years. Having undertaken a one-year certificated course in Person-Centred Counselling my approach is focused on the individual, and takes into account the priorities and needs of the client and their family. I have worked with children and adolescents of all ages, as well as adults, and parents of children who have particular needs. In addition, I facilitate Social Awareness Groups for children and adolescents.

The quality of the relationship always remains at the heart of my practice, and together we work to nurture the existing skills, strengths, and interests of the individual, and build on developing areas that are important to the individual and their family. The emotional well-being of my clients is very important. I work on developing confidence, often referring to Growth Mindset resources with the hope of building the individual's resilience and coping strategies.

Working collaboratively with others is often essential, especially if the individual attends an educational/therapeutic setting. I adopt an eclectic approach using a range of evidence-based interventions which are discussed and explained with the individual and family so they understand the purpose and aim. I have a history of liaising with a wide range of nurseries and schools, and where appropriate I offer work within family homes. I support families to write EHCPs and other supporting documents where relevant.

The emotional well-being of my clients is very important. I work on developing confidence, often referring to Growth Mindset resources with the hope of building the individual's resilience and coping strategies.
